Tiffany and Chad’s Beachside Elopement in Maui!

April 16, 2015

Tiffany looks absolutely breath-taking in her Essense of Australia ivory charmeuse sheath gown! This gown has a sweetheart neckline, soft dreamy pleats along the bodice and a dramatic 1920s-inspired side slit which drapes softly into a  pretty sweep train. Tiffany’s dear friend and witness for the elopement looks beautiful in her flowy Alfred Angelo coral chiffon bridesmaid gown. We love the café and ivory floral sash accenting Tiffany’s waist and the stunning flowers in her beautiful swept up hair!!

Tiffany was able to fill us in on the details behind this gorgeous wedding:

“We were married on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii on November 7, 2014.  Our wedding coordinator recommended a private beach called Makena Surf that was wrapped in black rock and soft sand.  We had a very romantic and unique dining experience at Capische Restaurant at the Hotel Wailea.  The dining experience was like 'tapas' with food delicacies and wine pairings, I highly recommend it if you ever visit Maui.

Our wedding was not your typical traditional wedding celebration.  My husband and I knew from the beginning that we wanted simplicity and romance on our wedding day so we decided to elope and invited two of our best friends to come and witness our union.  It was one of the toughest life decisions we have ever made thus far because we have so many amazing family and friends all around the world we wanted to share this joyous occasion with.  I wanted to be sure everyone was included somehow so I had to be creative with our planning.  In a nutshell, we decided to send out invitations one month before we departed to invite everyone we love to our wedding webcast, this way everyone could be witness to the happiest day of our life.  I surprised my parents, siblings and niece with corsages and boutonnieres when I heard they decided to host a 'webcast' party in our honour.  It was all the 'little' surprises from friends and family that comforted us in our decision - their support and understanding for our wedding wishes was a true gift.

Eloping was the toughest but best decision for us - there were no distractions from each other.  It was the most flirtatious day we have ever had, the romance was contagious, there was no stress and I didn't know this was possible but we fell even more in love on our wedding day.

I have so many heart-warming memories etched in my mind I would need a book to share them all.  Our wedding was truly a dream come true, from the proposal in New York city, to finding my dream dress at Ladybelle Bridal, to saying 'I do' to the love of my life on one of the most beautiful beaches the world has to offer.  I am a very lucky 'Ladybelle'!

I have to give credit and thanks to:

Laurie Terry, our wedding planner from Makena Weddings. Without her experience and passion for event planning I wouldn't have met our photographer Justin and our videographer Todd. This was the dream team, so fun to work with and all companies worked so well together.

The team at Ladybelle Bridal - I had a vision of my wedding dress since I was a little girl and it was exactly what I was looking for right down to the sash.  The experience of trying on different dresses was so much fun and a memory I will remember forever.”

Tiffany from the bottom of our hearts – we wish you both a lifetime filled with love, health and happiness!!
